About Blueqat
Blueqat is an open-source Python SDK for quantum computing, built by blueqat Inc. (formerly MDR Inc., Tokyo). It lets developers write and run quantum circuits using both the gate model and quantum annealing, with a simulator built on PyTorch that supports a dense statevector backend and a memory-scalable tensor-network backend. Because circuits can use torch.Tensor parameters, they stay differentiable through Circuit.run() — useful for variational algorithms like VQE and QAOA. Ships with runnable examples covering Bell states, quantum teleportation, Grover's search, the Quantum Fourier Transform, and QAOA for Max-Cut.
